About us

Founder’s Message

Since 2014, we have pursued a clear mission: to design simple and innovative solutions that provide long-term relief from back pain and improve the daily lives of those who suffer from it. A true public health issue, back pain affects a large majority of working people and is one of the most widespread musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), according to an Ifop study conducted for PERCKO.

At PERCKO, we develop effective and easy-to-use solutions to improve posture and reduce everyday tension. Today, more than 450,000 users trust PERCKO to take care of their backs.

Our ambition remains the same: rto make practical solutions accessible so people can live better every day.

Alexis Ucko & Quentin Perraudeau, founders of PERCKO

Everyday solutions for your back

Over the years, PERCKO has developed a complete range of ergonomic solutions to support the back on a daily basis and help prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).

A pioneer with its posture-correcting T-shirts and vests, the brand has gradually expanded its expertise with solutions designed for professionals, such as the Lyne vests and the PERCKO exoskeleton, created to reduce physical strain during demanding activities.

At the same time, PERCKO also offers solutions for everyday life: bedding designed to reduce pressure points, ergonomic chairs to improve posture, as well as bras that combine support and posture.

The goal: to offer effective, discreet, and easy-to-adopt solutions, suited to both workplace demands and everyday needs.

How did PERCKO’s innovation begin?

Both engineers, Alexis Ucko and Quentin Perraudeau met during their Master’s program at ESSEC. The idea for PERCKO came from a real-life problem: Alexis’s father, a dentist, regularly suffered from back pain after spending long hours leaning over his patients. As they explored the issue, they quickly realized that existing solutions were often restrictive or not very effective in the long term.

Working with a team of biomechanics experts, physiotherapists, and osteopaths, they developed their first product: a discreet T-shirt featuring a patented tensioning system. This technology encourages the body to self-correct posture, helping the wearer straighten up naturally while maintaining full freedom of movement.

Designed with a French specialist in innovative textiles, this T-shirt acts on posture to strengthen back muscles and provide long-term relief from tension. Launched in 2016, it quickly gained popularity, with over 10 000 T-shirts sold in its first year.

Since then, the range has expanded, and PERCKO’s textile solutions are now among the most recommended by doctors in France, according to a study conducted by YouGov in December 2024.

A dedicated offer for companies

In response to workplace health challenges related to back pain, PERCKO also develops a B2B offering dedicated for professionals.

The brand notably offers Lyne PRO, a vest designed for active jobs (logistics, construction, maintenance), and Lyne FLEX, adapted to sedentary roles or lab-coat jobs (administration, healthcare, agri-food industry).

Latest innovation: the PERCKO exoskeleton, capable of reducing muscle effort by up to 46% when lifting loads and limiting fatigue caused by repetitive movements.

Today, more than 2,500 companies and organizations trust PERCKO, including SNCF, RATP, EDF, the City of Nice, Heineken, and the Institut Curie.

The PERCKO ergonomic chair

Ranked the best office chair for postural comfort by an independent institute* in a comparative study of 14 chairs on the market, it provides full support from the lower back to the neck thanks to its adjustable ErgoAdapt™ backrest.

Its innovative SeatCloud™ seat promotes optimal weight distribution and reduces tension during prolonged sitting periods.
